Local College Teams Can’t Twitter

I was completely shocked this morning to receive an email about the 100 Best Twitter Feeds for College Sports Fanatics, and not spy any local feeds dedicated to Terps, Hoyas, Patriots, Colonials, Bears, Eagles, Bison, Greyhounds, Golden Retrievers, Blue Jays, Bulldogs, Hawks or Fire Birds.

Insiders know that Bozeman’s preference is [...]

Gary Williams’ Last Stand

The years following the Maryland Terrapins’ first national championship had been marred with underachievement and a lack of excuses for it, particularly last season, when the Terps surprisingly financed the success of local mid-majors for the next ten years in home losses to Ohio and [...]

Support Howard University’s Homecoming

Let’s get this clear before you read any further. I did not attend Howard University. I support Howard University as a sister historically black college, but my alma mater is Morgan State University. You know, home of the greatest football catch you’ll ever see in life.
With that being said, Morgan visits Howard tomorrow for Howard’s [...]

How To Not Stop The Navy Rushing Attack

Perhaps I’m late on this, but here’s the line for Navy running back Shun White from the Middies’ 41-13 drubbing of Towson University this past Saturday.
Senior slot back Shun White set a Navy single-game rushing record with 348 yards (on just 19 carries) and scored three touchdowns to lead the Midshipmen to a season-opening 41-13 [...]
