So Da’Rel Scott is walking around the College Park campus with a football, primarily to caution him against fumbling in tackle football games. Coach Ralph Friedgen suggested it, after he saw it in a movie.
Hopefully, Scott makes out slightly better on than this guy did.

The highlights that you can take away from the 2008 Maryland Terrapin football campaign are about as numerous as the low points, and the fact that they are fairly middlin’ will save them from extra scrutiny this year.
But not in 2009.

…that’s if he doesn’t carve out a career in the NFL. So far, the freshman tailback and son of special teams star Dave Meggett has carved out a nice spot in the Terps backfield, with 365 yards rushing and four touchdowns on the season.
