Maybe Albert Haynesworth hates Greg Blache, and maybe he’s exactly right to require a better system by which the Redskins can wreak havoc. And yes; maybe $100 million dollars should buy him a little more input on how to improve a system that is pretty darn good.
But even if the Redskins’ defensive scheme was the [...]

Courtesy of a @RickMaese Tweet, we discover that Albert Haynesworth, Clinton Portis and DeAngelo Hall are all out against the Philadelphia Eagles today. Translation, the Redskins’ biggest signees are all inactive, thus rendering any hope for a close game useless and non-gratifying.
Fortunately, these are all legitimate injuries; none of the “my hamstring-I got migraines-turf toe” [...]

Not certain if anyone else was listening to Jim Zorn’s post game press conference, but if you were, perhaps you were also shocked about the revelations of Albert Haynesworth’s mother calling Jim Zorn to give her perspectives on injecting “fun” into game planning.
In sum, Zorn commented on speaking with Haynesworth mother during the week, and [...]

Prior to the start of the season, I delivered some news about newly-acquired defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth and his propensity to feign injury.
Now, we have some documented disgust from Washington analyst Sam Huff.
Michael: And Haynesworth is down.”
Huff: “What else is new?…He missed a tackle….[Nothing] happened. He missed a tackle.”
Later, Doc Walker reported that trainers weren’t [...]

Lawsuits and divorce can knock the breath out of any man, especially one that gets paid to run and tackle for a living and cares little for conditioning.
She asks in her motion that the court require Haynesworth to make payments on her credit card and on jointly owned property. She asks for at least $6,000 [...]

If you woke up this morning still a fan of Washington football, you should give yourself a pat on the back. There was very little to take away from their 23-17 loss to the New York Giants that would suggest the team is close to competing for an NFC East title, which is what the [...]

…if you ask Jason Brown of the St. Louis Rams.
“I’m so glad we’re playing Washington early in the year because it’s going to be hot out there, we’re going to be running hurry-up offense and he’s going to get fatigued,” Brown said. “And I’m not sure if you have watched film before, but when he [...]

We really should be used to this kind of news by now out of the Washington Redskins, but you never really adjust to the amounts of money the Redskins can throw around in free agent signings. $100 million over seven years for Albert Haynesworth, $54 million over six years for DeAngelo Hall.
Let that sink [...]

Here’s the situation. Ray Lewis has earned the right to be the highest paid defensive player in the NFL over his 13 years. The problem is that Albert Haynesworth has earned the same right over the course of the last few years.
And with Haynesworth being looked at by NFL teams like Tyra Banks’ first Sports [...]

If its true that the Washington Redskins are pursuing Albert Haynesworth, there’s reason to assume that this will be one of the free agent signings that works out well in the long term for the Redskins. Because we all know that doesn’t happen too often.
