Terrell Suggs and Candace Williams

In case you haven’t heard, Candace Williams has filed a restraining order against Ravens’ linebacker Terrell Suggs. And normally I don’t do this, but since this photo of Suggs and Williams seem to be of happier times, here you go.
Interestingly enough, the H/T on these photos goes to the Sun’s Ravens Insider blog. I can [...]

Sun’s ‘Top Ten Football Players in Baltimore History’

The Sun has put together a list of the top ten football players in Baltimore history. And aside from the glaring omission of Matt Stover, I have no problem with it.
What do you think?
1. John Unitas: The greatest quarterback to play the game. Father of the two-minute drill led the Colts to two NFL [...]

A.J. Francis Fires Back at the Diamondback Newspaper

I have to say, this is the first instance I’ve come across where a collegiate athlete is taking it to his campus newspaper via Twitter. I am so glad that athletes on my campus were too busy trying to bag chicks on BlackPlanet instead of airing me out on social network platforms.
A.J. Francis, I commend [...]

Gilbert Arenas Breaks Up to Make Up

First he loved the attention. Now he hates it. For those media fools who have tried to make Gilbert Arenas out to be more than a funny valentine for quotes and sound bytes, the best advice is to love him and leave him alone.

A snippet of Haber’s dismantling of Snyder.
Just go to our website, wusa9.com and click on “Skins Sound-off”. Once there, upload photos of [...]

Faith of the Salukis – So. Illinois Sports Writer Picks Wizards to Win the East

Salukis, consider me an honorary alumnus of your great institution.
Call me crazy, but I am seeing a coup in the east. It would be very easy to pick the defending conference champs, the Cleveland Lebrons or the Boston Celtics…but I’m going to choose the Washington Wizards. I think Agent 0 Gilbert Arenas is one of [...]

Redskins Fan Censorship Goes ‘Around the Horn’

Courtesy of the DC Sports Bog, here’s a national perspective on local lunacy; Daniel Snyder’s censorship of fan signage at Fed Ex Field.

I have to admit, given their propensity for candor and honesty, I’m really surprised that Chris Cooley, Clinton Portis or DeAngelo Hall has made no mention about this story to media. They freely [...]

Former Redskins Going Live, Going In

A lot of people wonder what makes the Washington Redskins one of the worst franchises in professional sports. Surprisingly, the biggest reason isn’t fan censorship or poor management;
It’s the fact that iconic former Redskins are all too willing to drag the team through the mud on a daily basis.

Mike Sellers Thinks the Media is Full of Negativity

Seems like several D.C. area sports stars are becoming fed up with the media, which is good, because New York teams are doing relatively well and its about time another major market took up the mantle of journos on the attack.
First it was a lethargic Gil, and now, Mike Sellers is just trying to live [...]
