Quintin Laing Has Swine Flu

The Washington Capitals may be the illness of the NHL Eastern Conference, but even they aren’t immune from the H1N1 virus. Left wing Quintin Laing has been diagnosed with the illness, and will be apart from the team until he is symptom free.
Caps coach Bruce Budreau breaks it down in a TMI kind of way:
“I’m hoping to shake fewer hands,” Coach Bruce Boudreau said. “It gets in your hands and fingers, and germs get in your cuticles. Everybody you meet is nice and wants to shake your hand. You don’t want to be rude and say no, but . . .”
Thanks, coach. The CDC couldn’t have said it any better than that.
