Everything that LaVar Arrington has uttered over his brief tenure as a radio host with WJFK 106.7 The Fan has been unadulterated hate. What makes Daniel Snyder nervous, and eager to buy the spot out, is that this hate is deeply rooted in some truth, and it could put a significant dent in the Washington football brand.
He has spoken into the atmosphere what sophisticated football fans have long known about Snyder’s mission as an NFL owner; the most delicious tidbits being Arrington’s assertions that Snyder is attracted to big free agents because of their ability to sell jerseys, and his complete lack of savvy in identifying coaching talent.
Excuse me while I let this echo finish.
The sad part is that this won’t have a happy ending. Similar to his approach to free agency, Snyder has the balls and the cash to make the price overwhelming enough for WJFK to sell out to The Man. That means bye-bye LaVar and your candidacy for the Hater of the Year award. In a way, it might be best for the area. Washington football fans can only take so much truth before drowning their sorrows in drunken tailgating adventures.
Oh wait, they don’t even have that anymore. Dang.

Lavar has his positives and negatives. I’m not a big fan of Chad Dukes. If they could draw Doc Walker from 980 they would be set. Even if they had Doc and Lavar on the drive home. Mike Wise is decent at best. He’s better than Sheehan so I’m sure that’s all their looking for.
If Danny buys the station he’ll officially be viewed as a tyrant…..lol. Or flat out pimp depending on how you want to look at it.
