A Few Stet Sports Housekeeping Notes

To the 5,000 plus of you who read this blog on a regular basis, thank you. Very much. I’m not a full-time blogger, so I usually don’t post more than five times a day. I don’t use profanity, and I don’t post photos of naked chicks, humiliating rumors and innuendo, or worthless acts of stupidity.

The fact that you continue to come back on a daily basis despite the lack of everything that makes sports blogging worthwhile entertaining proves two things: 1) You are a mature adult 2) Responsible content can draw regular readers.Your commitment to adulthood and the perspectives contained within this site are appreciated every moment of every day.

With that being said, I invite you to check out a few things that you may have missed in your hope that I turn the corner on sanitized sports blogging. First, I have an ongoing live chat built into the site. I generally use it for big games and notable sporting events within the Baltimore-Washington ranks, but if you ever want to just pop in and say hello, I’m online throughout the day. Feel free to post thoughts, ask questions, or stare at a blank screen. Or you can think of it as a real time message board, where you don’t have to continually hit “Refresh” to see a response from another writer.

Also, I’ve had a few emails about commenting on posts. The deal is that you now have to register with the site to leave your say on any and all posts. It takes but a few minutes, and if you are interested in the world seeing your thoughts in perpetuity, it would be a good idea.

So yeah, that about does it. Again, thanks for your patronage. More good things are on the way. And I’m not just talking about disparaging remarks about Daniel Snyder.
