Brandon Marshall to Baltimore? Oh God, No
In step with Mike Florio’s made up B.S., rumor report, the Baltimore Sun is blogging about the Brandon Marshall-to-the-Ravens whispers.
No sources from Florio and no sense on the part of the Ravens makes this a D.O.A rumor. If the Ravens were’nt pressed to pull the trigger on Anquan Boldin, why on Earth would they be willing to do it for a tenured psycho in Brandon Marshall? The talent is there, but if there is any pro athlete that shows potential to be Rae Carruth reloaded, its Marshall.
Besides, the Ravens haven’t built an organization on the backs of malcontents and head cases in free agency. They’ve built through the draft, and most of the free agents that they have signed over the years have been character guys. No need to interrupt the regularly scheduled programming in Charm City to bring in the one-man show version of C.O.P.S.
