Ryan Plackemeier Released, Curse of Tom Tupa Continues to Afflict Redskins
To celebrate Friday the 13th the right way, here’s news that the Washington Redskins have released punter Ryan Plackemeier, who became an instant local celebrity after the epic fail and skewering of draft pick Durant Brooks.
Let’s face it, people who kick the football for a living have not been able to find their way to Washington for anything. And it’s a shame given the special teams lineage of folks like Reggie Roby and Chip Lohmiller, that the Redskins have not been able to put their foot on a stable player at either position.
