D.C. United to Unite With Prince George’s County in Stadium Deal
D.C. United, in all of its glory as a successful MLS franchise, will go the route of the Washington Redskins and put down roots in Prince George’s County.
The project still faces several government hurdles, but United executive chairman Victor MacFarlane said he hopes to break ground this year and open the facility late in 2011 or for the start of the 2012 season. County and team officials are reviewing seven sites, five of which are near Metro stations, and a final choice could be made within 30 days.
Well then, I guess the only questions that remain are will there be a Five Guys franchise in proximity to the stadium, and will there be more of this going on at games:
Because without those two components, this deal is a B.U.S.T.

Oh, the funky will be coming with us.
Excellent. The after party at the Capital Centre Golden Corral awaits your arrival.
