Malcolm Delaney Lights It Up, Virginia Tech Hokies Let Us Down

In my continuing coverage of Gary Williams’ ineptitude as a recruiter, here’s the scoop on Baltimore native Malcolm Delaney, who had a career high 37 points in tonight’s home battle against the Clemson Tigers.

And by the way, the Hokies lost a big lead and the game.

But back to Delaney, who got it in on 11-17 shooting, including 6-10 on three-pointers. The Hokies are second place in the ACC, and aside from being on the wrong end of more close ones than springtime at the College Park Health Center, they could be in pretty good shape.

And by pretty good shape, I mean not on the verge of having their coach fired, starting shooting guard booed at home, and having alumni rip their best player.
