Skins Lose Game, Fans Lose Cars

In an absolutely strange turn of events, the Washington Redskins lost at home to the Pittsburgh Steelers, giving some hope to politically superstitious fans in the Washington area that even the Bandwagon couldn’t stop the Obama Hope Train.

But the question facing many fans this morning is whether or not the Skins Bandwagon runs on a commuting schedule parallel to that of the Metro system, as eight cars were destroyed by fire in a FedEx Field parking lot last night.

That has to suck. Majorly. You come out of a game in which a former local high school quarterback prodigy leads the Steelers to victory, only to find that you need a ride out of Landover? After midnight? And the polls were going to be backed in about five hours?

At least the Redskins looked fresh to def in their losing effort. Or so some of us think.
