Change the Wizards Can Believe In

A lot of things went right for the Washington Wizards last night as they got their first win of the season. The first known pictures of Gilbert Arenas’ Obama tattoo have surfaced, Mike Wise of the Post is continuing the paper’s endorsement of the kid who can jump over the moon, and Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison finally showed signs of being the best players on the floor in crunch time.

They say the Wiz kids historically start slow, so here’s hoping that the 0-5 slide to begin the season was the team adjusting the mirrors before the long road trip that is the NBA season. They will likely hit another bump when Gil returns in less than a month, but if JaVale McGee continues to be the anti-Kwame, Wizards fans could be in for a entertaining – and productive season.
