..And How is This Supposed to Change the Orioles Pitching Staff?
The Baltimore Orioles are unveiling new uniforms today at noon. As you can see, the bird really doesn’t give a crap about the changes, because he’s actually gained a couple of pounds in the new design.
But most people are amped up because after 36 years, the team will once again have ‘Baltimore’ gracing the front of the road unis. Maybe it will bring some luck, but with no sweeping changes on the horizon for the pitching staff, they might as well have stitched “ERA? What’s All The Fuss About?” across the front.

The Orioles need more than a larger bird to win anytime within my lifetime. They need quality ownership, a better p.r. department, a scouting staff that can identify poential greats, and then minor league coaches who can develop skills and a winning attitude.
Like I said, not in my lifetime….
I think the Orioles have the right manager in place, but they’ve got to get some young talent in fast.
I thought I’d never see a president who looks like me, but if that can happen, we can believe Angelos will do the right thing and sale the team.
