But even in a loss, the Ravens looked better offensively last night than they have in years.

Maybe ever.

Against better judgement, I'm going out on a limb and picking the Eagles against the Redskins. The Redskins have demonstrated that they are a bonafide good team thus far, but I think the blitzing of the Eagles will really disrupt Campbell's timing on certain routes.

However, I'm fully prepared to look stupid on that bet.

I was shocked at the MD score and mildly surprised by the 'skins game. I didn't think it was possible that our offense, only playing in this system for 4 games, could dominate the cowboys the way that it did. That refrain that "Zorn sure does call a good game" could be said for all of the 'skins wins. Also, i was quite shocked at the D's ability to neuter the cowboys 3 big playmakers on offense (barber, witten and owens). It was nice for them to do it this week, but lets see if they can be as productive against the Iggles next week, winning 2 games on the road against division rivals is next to impossible.

The Redskins did look balanced on both sides of the ball, and there aren't too may mistakes you can point to (aside from allowing the field goal at the end of the half) that would be mental errors that could have cost the game.

If anything, fault Dallas for not forcing the run to be an issue during the contest.

Outside of Casey Rabach's red zone penalties and maybe the silly pop up kick, this was the proverbial perfect game a team has to play to beat a superior opponent.

There may be something to Zorn calling these plays. The Redskins offense hasn't been this dynamic in a while.

Ha!

Well...the biggest surprise (over the sustained growth of Jason Campbell) would be the Skins D and their ability to keep Dallas silent on the ground.

Cue the scramble to pick them up from NFL fantasy leaguers.
