Baron Davis Chides Gilbert Arenas’ Political Views

You don’t know how good it does my heart to see athletes standing up for more than a endorsement or royalties pay check. Several athletes began speaking out on political issues during this election year, specifically in the NBA.

But when our boy Gilbert Arenas chimed in on his logical-yet-misconstrued views about Republicans and lower taxes, it drew a lot of ire from the Washington Wizards’ faithful.

And apparently, Los Angeles Clippers guard Baron Davis as well. Here’s his latest Yardbarker post on rallying people to elect Barack Obama in November.

(I know he said he’s gonna raise the taxes on the top income bracket, Gil, but if he uses that money to improve our schools then you won’t have to worry about some kids trying to sell pictures of your pool online cause they couldn’t get a better job.) LOL

Yes, Baron. Your laughing out loud symbol is appropriately designated. People with jobs will be selling those pictures of Gil’s pool online, so we definitely can’t let the children fall by the wayside.
