Nobody Puts Gregg Williams in a Corner

The Washington Redskins, with the exception of Colt “Dreamboat” Brennan, looked horrible again last night against the Jacksonville Jaguars in their preseason finale. But aside from the fact that Snyder made Skins fans pay full price for a beating that mattered not, the loss also yielded a healthy dose of comeuppance for former Skins’ defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, to whom Daniel Snyder gave a a diamond encrusted middle finger earlier this year.

Every Jaguar quarterback threw a touchdown pass on the Skins’ defense, and the Jags’ defense limited the Skins’ first-string offense to 14 total yards in three possessions. To that in perspective, the average length of a beer bong used during Redskins’ tailgating measures about that long.

I’m still convinced that the Skins’ will be a decent team with a good offense this season. But I’m also convinced that the team’s preseason would’ve been better spent practicing flip cup strategy.
