Michael Phelps is….The Hulk
Is it just me, or does the Water Cube in Beijing expose its Olympic participants to high levels of Gamma radiation?
Because only some of the green stuff could elicit this response from America’s golden hero Michael Phelps.
Seriously, our boy looks like smashing time is less than five seconds away in this photo. His relay mate seems caught between trying to get face time and holding on for dear life.
He’s still on pace to become the greatest single-Olympic champion in history, and he probably has a couple of great summers beyond Beijing. We could be looking at the making of one of America’s greatest athletes.
If, we can avoid making him angry.

I’ve never cheered over swimming before until last night….that comeback in the men’s 4×100 relay was what legends are made of….and I just loved sticking it to the smug, trash-talking French as well.
Move over Will Smith, Michael Phelps is the Legend.

that was the most exciting olympic event ever. anyone who missed this live what a shame. its just not the same when you know the result. it looked like lezak had no chance to win and the way he came back was amazing. announcers did a great job too conveying the excitement. everyone was excited yet here is some jack ass blogger who probably didnt watch the live event already hating on michael phelps trying to make him look like an idiot. can we stop this shit already america its getting old and predictable.
