Don’t Stand Next to Jim Zorn When a Bus is Coming
Whoa! What the heck just came through here? A bus? You’re kidding!
And how did those members of the Washington Redskins first-string offense wind up getting pushed in front of it as it rolled through? Jim Zorn? Impossible!
“I think the hardest part for me is calling the plays and not being able to sustain [drives] for many reasons,” Zorn said after reviewing the film of Thursday’s 24-3 loss to Jacksonville. “It hasn’t been the same reasons. If I was calling plays and I felt like I just kept running into a brick wall every time I called a play, then I’d feel really kind of nervous about me and the stuff that I’m calling. But when you see it on video, there’s an answer, and there are correctable answers.”
And it doesn’t stop there. With starters and hot shots rookies dropping like fans catching home runs, Zorn is facing personnel changes that might damage sustained effectiveness throughout the season. Players out? Coach is high on his offensive philosophy no matter what?
This sounds so much like the Spurrier days, its not even funny.

Hmm…curious as Joe Gibbs fell on the sword a lot….almost to a fault.
Personally, I think players should be called out…it should motivate them.
Zorn just shouldn’t get too carried away, he’s there for team building too.
