While I Was Away…I Decided to Come Back Home
While in Las Vegas having the time of my life, I had some time to reflect on some important things. First, I realized how lucky I am to be married to the woman I’m married to. Second, being so far away from my native East Coast, and in close proximity to California news, I realized that there’s nothing like my Baltimore/Washington sports teams.
To both of these revelations, I’ve come to a very important decision.
It’s back to my mid-Atlantic roots when it comes to Stet Sports, and it’s back to doing much more of it.
As much of a sports fan as I am, hearing news that Gilbert Arenas got an offer from the Golden State Warriors but is leaning towards re-signing with the Washington Wizards renewed my allegiance to my hometown teams. Sure, it might cost me a couple thousand daily hits, but if it were all about hits, I’d probably be these guys.
So there you have it. That’s what a couple hundred dollars blown at Treasure Island black jack tables and a two-hour time share presentation will get you. A prodigal sports blogger returning home.
