Brendan Haywood is a Bitch

We've seen this before. In an effort to look tough, Brendan Haywood will engage someone in in a physical confrontation, only to come out looking more like Wall-E than Charles Oakley. It's bad enough that his play doesn't match the flashes of bitchiness he tends to exude, but he's about 0-19 in even looking believable in these stunts.

Which brings us to tonight's flagrant foul on LeBron James, and what's sure to be at least a one-game suspension. Etan Thomas has to be laughing somewhere, knowing that his job is fully secure from the would be threat of Brendan Haywood. DC basketball loyalists don't call him Brenda for nothing, and the proof is in the footage.

Perhaps Brenda didn't get the message, but he's sure to get that memo from David Stern titled "nobody wants to see your dumb ass play." Surely I am invested in a Wizards series win, but if there is to be anything short of that, my attention and my allegiances go towards LeBron making the destruction of the Wizards at least look good.

We've seen Brenda throw punches running backwards, we've read stories of him pulling out Etan Thomas' hair, and of course the whole standing over LeBron in Game 1 thing. We all know plenty of guys who will mouth off at some function and duck at the sound of a loud profanity, but Haywood is the world's most valuable roll of Charmin, and apparently isn't afraid to show it.

It's time for Wizards fans to stop expecting Brendan Todd Haywood to act like an adult male and accept the fact that we've got RuPaul as our starting center.

Wonder if John Amaechi is still keeping in shape these days...

Damn....that's some harsh shit.

I mean, I've dubbed BTH "Brenda" time and time again in the past...to the point where I was ready to ship his butt off to Portland for Jamaal Magloire last season. (what the eff was I thinking?)

But intensely following the Wizards this year, I've really felt that he's made big strides towards finally achieving maturity.

Do you really think that one play has set him back an entire season?
