Corey Patterson, a solid presence in the outfield on on the base paths for the woeful Baltimore Orioles, has joined the fray of elite center fielders filing for free agency. Patterson, Andruw Jones and Torii Hunter are now all on the market in search of new teams for next season, and big money for their futures.
Despite having an ankle injury that sidelined him for the late stages of the season, Patterson played well after the all-star break, batting .313 with a .333 on-base percentage.
