Halloween in the Baltimore-Washington Area
With Halloween quickly approaching, everybody is getting into the spirit of what they will be wearing for the occasion. There’s sure to be huge parties in Baltimore and Washington, and if our beloved Calvin Booth is any measure, members of area teams will be sure to do it up in the costume department.
But for those that might still be on the fence about their alias for the evening, I would like to suggest some ideas that are historically relevant, socially popular, and eerily similar in personality to the players themselves.
I give you, the Motown Sound.
Gilbert Arenas as Marvin Gaye - This one is the easiest pick of all. Love of the ladies? Check. Mystery factor? Check. Impeccable professional swag? Check.
Ray Lewis as David Ruffin - How do you link an R&B legend and an all-pro, tackling machine? One word: Powerful.
Clinton Portis as Rick James - No need for explanations here. It’s all about the funk of it.
Brendan Haywood as Diana Ross - Diva to the max.
Daniel Snyder as Berry Gordy Jr. - The man behind the music…And the madness.
