For those who are into institutional PC moves, here’s the Terps doing their best to increase alcohol awareness. Student athletes at Maryland have taken part in producing a video that will run in conjunction with National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness week.
I think this is an honorable move, but to be honest, in college this type of thing did nothing but incite toasts all round the dorm rooms and apartments. You know that when Duke comes to town for basketball, a couple of things are guaranteed by Terp campus faithful:
1. They’re getting drunk.
2. They’re going to show you how drunk they are.
3. No amount of Cluck-U Atomic wings and honey bees cures that hangover.
