Here’s a cool photo of the Washington Nationals’ new stadium being constructed in Southeast Washington DC, courtesy of jdland.com. As you can see, it’s going to be gorgeous, which in all likelihood will make Baltimore Orioles owner Peter Angelos extremely jealous, and inspire him to field a team worse than the Springfield Isotopes.
Someone actually had the bizzalls (Arjewtino.com) to sneak into the new stadium and get pictures from the inside. They were promptly escorted out, but their gumption kind of makes me want to pledge allegiance and rage against the system, all at the same time. Artists renderings are one thing, but there’s nothing like obtaining illegal images from dangerous construction sites.
