Yes, that’s the name of my team, Los Dynamitos. Don’t really know the origin, but its much better than the name I considered changing it to last year, “If You Win This Week, You’re Gay.”
Much better without the gay-bashing component, if I do say so myself.
My league had it’s draft on yesterday evening, and I felt some kind of way cause while I’m normally posted by the laptop with buffalo wings on draft night, last night was the first installment of one of my graduate classes. Therefore, I had to set up the dreaded auto-draft ranking list and hope for the best.
Didn’t turn out so bad for the little dynamites: Here’s my computer GM’s best work:
| 1. | (2) | Larry Johnson | RB |
| 2. | (19) | Cedric Benson | RB |
| 3. | (22) | Marques Colston | WR |
| 4. | (39) | Calvin Johnson | WR |
| 5. | (42) | Santana Moss | WR |
| 6. | (59) | Tony Romo | QB |
| 7. | (62) | Chris Cooley | TE |
| 8. | (79) | Jacksonville | DEF |
| 9. | (82) | Matt Stover | K |
| 10. | (99) | Troy Polamalu | DB |
| 11. | (102) | Marcus Trufant | DB |
| 12. | (119) | Alex Smith | QB |
| 13. | (122) | L.J. Smith | TE |
| 14. | (139) | Tatum Bell | RB |
| 15. | (142) | D.J. Hackett | WR |
| 16. | (159) | San Francisco | DEF |
| 17. | (162) | John Kasay | K |
I really like the Larry Johnson pick, the receivers, and the defense. Tony Romo I’m unsure on, but Alex Smith might turn out okay. I always seem to roll into the playoffs, only to get done in by some four-touchdown performance from the likes of Jon Kitna in the latter stages of the season.
Here’s to fantasy bragging rights throughout the season. Stay tuned.
